GGGI Pakistan Jobs Education Qualification
- An advanced university degree in discipline involving sustainable development, green growth, sustainable landscapes, agriculture, forestry, land use or a closely related field.
- At least 5+ years of professional experience in developing countries and/or in the Asia region with a Master’s degree, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Direct prior experience working with government institutions, intergovernmental organizations (IOs), academic institutions, and/or non-governmental organizations based in Asia/Pakistan.
- Direct experience working on AFOLU-related emissions accounting, analysis, and scenario development; such direct experience in Asia/Pakistan is a significant strength.
- Strong command of utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint software.
- Excellent analytical skills, critical thinking ability, and data gathering skills; and
- Strong writing skills in English are required.
EXPERTISE REQUIRED
The description of required expert may be split into following parts:
Functional:
- Experience on developing low emission sectoral pathways and undertaking research, analyzing country trends,
- Experience in policy formulation, capacity building and multi-stakeholder engagement,
- Anticipate and provide necessary technical and evidence-based support,
- Technical knowledge of planning, policy and strategy,
- Excellent organizational and management skills with demonstrated experience.
ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION
- Interested consultants shall submit their CV and cover letter before 23:59 PM KST, 25 September 2026.
- Date to close is Pakistan Standard Time (PKT). Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Cover Letter, and CV must be sent in English.
