- An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: Social behaviour change communications, communications, Social Sciences, International Relations, Government, Public Administration, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development, or another relevant technical field.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience and proven track record in leading large SBCC programmes and projects is required.
- Demonstrated experience working in the polio eradication programme is required given the emergency nature of the role.
- A proven track record in managing large teams and overseeing resources are essential.
Desirables:
- Background/familiarity with emergencies is considered an asset.
- Experience working in a UN system agency or organization is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or local language is an asset.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required.
